"Socks Lost in
the Laundry"
Six multicolored
socks in Monday’s laundry,
One sock forever
gone on troubled Tuesday,
Another purple
sock in Wednesday’s large load,
Yes, gone with
number three on thieving Thursday,
Where is the
fourth fresh sock this frightful Friday,
Oh, stuck with
sneaky number five in hiding,
Pet peeve…where
is my last surreptitious sock?
