Satire 1.9
There are two articles about Satire 1.9 posted on the UBLearns site-- "Fragments of an Autobiography" and "A Stroll with Lucilius." They are not required reading, but they will help you make sense of what is going on in Satire 1.9 and give you a glimpse of Horace's biography and poetic persona.
