Catullus 50: lines 7-13

7    And I left there fired with your charm
8    and your wit, Licinius,
9    so that neither food delighted miserable me
10  nor did rest cover my eyes with sleep,
11  but wildly I tossed and turned on my whole bed
12  in passion, desiring to see the light,
13  so that I would speak with you and so that I would be with you at the same time.
