Archimedes Palimpsest

OK, this has nothing to do with Catullus at all, but I know our readers have wide ranging interests!  One of the most amazing  finds in Classics is the relatively recent (1998) discovery of a 13th century manuscript of a prayer book that contained the erased remains of lost works of the brilliant Greek mathematician Archimedes.  The story of its discovery and translation is fascinating, and you can find it at this beautiful and informative website:  http://www.archimedespalimpsest.org/
