ReplyDeleteI see two problems in line 1-- in English, we have to use stress accent instead of long/short, and the stress in republic falls on the 2nd syllable, so you end up with *-* instead of -**. Similarly, the stress in Lesbia is on the first syllable, so the last two syllables are **
The second line works out well!
