Hendecasyllabics - English example

Roman | Republic | poem | for Les | bia.
Oh no, | Jupiter, | she is | too un | faithful!

This is what it is supposed to be!
But I wouldn't be surprised if I messed up several times.

  1. I see two problems in line 1-- in English, we have to use stress accent instead of long/short, and the stress in republic falls on the 2nd syllable, so you end up with *-* instead of -**. Similarly, the stress in Lesbia is on the first syllable, so the last two syllables are **

    The second line works out well!
